Paying taxes must be advantageous, president of Ukraine's Taxpayers Association Valentyna Arbuzova told the international conference of taxpayers associations, ForUm correspondent reports.
She pointed out that Ukrainian tax system is very complicated, but Ukrainian government has come close enough to change the situation for the better.
"With further improvement of the Tax Code the priorities of the tax legislation development process include the state support of real sector of economy, creation of equal conditions for all entrepreneurs, realization of both fiscal and motivation functions of taxes and prevention of corruption," she said.
Arbuzova reminded that Ukraine's Taxpayers Association has been working in Ukraine for 14 years and consolidate representatives of big, middle and small businesses. "We have proved that we can solve difficult problems," she noted and added that support and respect of international organizations on taxpayer right protection is meaningful.
In his turn, president of the World Taxpayers Association David M. Stanley noted that Ukraine has taken important steps towards the liberalization of the tax field.
