President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed to take measures to provide proper conditions for recreation and rehabilitation of children during the 2012 summer vacations, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
Pursuant to the instructions, the Government is to prepare and implement on time a set of measures to ensure summer recreation for children; to coordinate action to ensure the proper sanitary and epidemiological supervision of children's health centers and providing children with top-quality food and medication; to speed up the approval of the National Program of Recreation for Children until 2015.
In addition, the Prime Minister, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Heads of Regional State Administrations and Heads of Kyiv and Sevastopol City Administrations are to take measures to ensure the proper work organization of children’s recreation centers, provide timely and full funding of children’s recreation programs (especially for the children with special needs and requiring social support), conduct state inspections of the conditions at children’s recreation facilities, invite enterprises, public institutions, organizations, and funds to help in the rehabilitation and recreation of children, etc.
