Tax service will not hold inspections and investigations into small business till the end of 2012, head of the State tax service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klimenko said at a meeting with Kharkiv entrepreneurs, ForUm learned from the press office of the department.
"There will be no inspections of small business till the end of 2012. Business must work towards profit, and the tax service is interested in profit growth, as it brings budget revenues, new jobs and healthy competition. There is no point for us to interfere with the work of business," the official said.
Klimenko assured entrepreneurs that the number of regular inspections would be reduced. He informed that in the first quarter of this year the number of inspections of small business dropped twice, 1838 against 3352 inspections in the past.
