The Kyiv waste recycling plant "Energy" is burning cocaine costing 200 million dollars as we speak, deputy SBU head Volodymyr Rokitski told the press, ForUm correspondent reports. According to the official, the shipment weighs about one ton and 30 kilos.
"It's more than ten million dozes of cocaine, recollected by SBY officials from an international criminal organization. The cost of this shipment at 'black market' is about 200 million dollars," Rokitski said.
According to the official, the destroyed cocaine was of high quality. This kind of cocaine is usually mixed with other substances before use. According to the chief investigator Vladyslav Vasylchenko, it was the largest shipment of cocaine in Ukraine. As workers of the plant told, cocaine can be destroyed in burners under 850 degrees.
