Having studied the exposition of Institute's projects, the PM said he liked the exposition, but these projects cannot be implemented industrially. "There are plans to save four billion cu m annually, but the expenses for such initiative will make 24 billion hryvnais per year. It raises the question."

Azarov appealed to scientists with a request to work out methods to cheapen the implementation process of energy saving technologies. He also noted it is needed, if possible, to switch the equipment from gas to other sources of energy. Speaking about implementation of heat pumps as an alternative to gas boilers, the Premier noted that "any implementation must be economically grounded and beneficial."
