President of Ukraine stands for reduction of a gap in the life standard between the power and the society through abolishment of privileges for power representatives.
“We should move in this direction step by step and finally remove a distance existing between the power echelon and the society. This distance should be reduced. It is impossible to further finance privileges, when we know that there is lack of financing for the medical sphere, education and the army,” the Head of state said in an interview for the program “Evenings with Vitaliy Korotych”, UKRINFORM reports.
To remind, Chairman of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov admitted on Thursday that the Verkhovna Rada could consider a draft law about abolishment of deputy immunity next week.
