The first president of Ukraine, chairman of the Constitutional Assembly Leonid Kravchuk believes it incorrect to receive money reward for the work in the Assembly.
"There cannot be salary. I don't want to be paid for taking an important historical step. In my opinion the question on money reward is incorrect," Kravchuk told a briefing in Kyiv.
As reported, President Viktor Yanukovych signed the decree on formation of the Constitutional Assembly, which is called to change the Basic Law of the country. Leonid Kravchuk was appointed the chairman of the Constitutional Assembly.
