European integration remains one of the most important directions of cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova, President Viktor Yanukovych said during today’s enlarged talks with President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
Viktor Yanukovych said that during their face-to-face meeting the two Presidents have discussed many international issues. “It is very important that Ukraine and Moldova would always be partners and supported each other in international organizations,” he said.
For his part, Nicolae Timofti emphasized the convergence of positions of Moldova and Ukraine in the question of European integration.
