We share the calls of the Polish President about necessity to reform Ukrainian legislation and to put it in line with European standards. By Ukrainian President's and government's initiative, for the last month a new Criminal Procedure Code and the Law on public unions have been adopted. The government has also worked out changes to the Law on access to public information, which will extend people's control over the authorities. Further reforms are on the way," the statement says.
Foreign Ministry of Ukraine thanked Komorowski for criticizing the Euro-2012 boycott announcement. "Fans from all over the world are waiting for proper holding of the Euro-2012 final without artificial politicization. Nobody has a right to turn this dream into a victim of the current political circumstances," the document reads.
