From September 1, 2012 patients with hypertension will be able to buy medicines with a discount, health minister Raisa Bohatyriova told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"From September 1 the state will partially compensate the cost of medicines against hypertension at the expense of the state budget means," she said and added by this date the Ministry will have worked out the list of medicines liable for discount.
According to the official, the morbidity and death rate among patients with hypertension is decreasing in Ukraine.
