Belarus has lifted the restrictions on import of Ukrainian beer, vice Pm of Belarus Vladimir Semashko told the press after the meeting with Ukraine's economy minister Petro Poroshenko.

"The beer case is closed. There are some organizational issues left," Semashko underlined.
In its turn Ukraine has removed temporary restrictions on the import of Belarusian meat and dairy products in Ukraine.

According to Semashko, the parties have managed to settle the concerns over the supply in the short term. "We came to signing the protocol on April 15 and outlined a system of measures to resolve the issue," he said, adding the parties have found a compromise that would work for the benefit of both countries.

In his turn Poroshenko stressed Ukraine welcomes the decision by the Belarusian side to lift restrictions against Ukraine's products and thanked Belarusian colleagues for cooperation.
The sides have also signed a protocol of negotiations to resolve issues of supplies of Belarusian meat and dairy products in Ukraine.
