Crimea has enormous potential to develop alternative energy production, President Viktor Yanukovych told journalists in Crimea durign his working visit, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
The President said Crimea is a region that would soon have lots of opportunities to develop infrastructure. “There are many investors working presently on different investment projects, large and medium. Crimea will be developing. It means creating all the conditions for that: energy sources, roads, ports, transport infrastructure, jobs,” he said.
The President also reminded that Crimea has the largest solar power station in the world. He also said it is necessary to build the infrastructure to transport the energy it produces.
