The law does not allow ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko heading the electoral list of the political party, since she is a convicted person.
Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych told journalists by the end of an extended meeting of the government on Friday, UKRINFORM reports.
“This list, which will be sent to the Central Election Commission for registration of candidates to people's deputies, can include only persons, who meet constitutional requirements. Persons, having an outstanding conviction cannot be candidates for people's deputies” Lavrynovych has said.
He noted that current lists, made public in mass media, could not be considered as official.
