"I have already given an instruction to assist them in returning to Ukraine. I am particularly pleased that there are currently no Ukrainian sailors held by pirates," he said.
According to Maritime Bulletin-Sovfracht, as of the beginning of this year, Somali pirates held 145 sailors on board seven merchant vessels, including six citizens of Ukraine (the Enrico Ievoli tanker).
