Ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko was moved Sunday from Kharkiv Ukrzaliznytsia Central Clinical Hospital back to Kachanivka colony where she serves her sentence.

Comments on this occasion were given by First Deputy Health Minister Raisa Moiseyenko, Chief Doctor of the hospital Mykhailo Afanasiev and head of the penitentiary service department in Kharkiv region Yevhen Barash, UKRINFORM reports.

“In the morning the Health Ministry Commission and hospital heads visited Yulia Tymoshenko at a special block, where she was brought for treatment on Saturday. Unfortunately, a patient has bluntly refused from treatment,” Moiseyenko has said.

As the hospital's chief doctor noted in turn, “It's a pity that Tymoshenko refused from treatment, the hospital was preparing to receive her in all respects.”

“As soon as Tymoshenko was brought to the hospital, our doctors plus Kharkiv leading specialists on spinal diseases proposed her to undergo medical examination. Unfortunately, she refused. Her refusal was not motivated,” Afanasiev said.

The chief doctor said that since yesterday, the ex-Premier's lawyer was not present in the hospital and he did not approach with a request about visiting his defendant.
