Ukrainian infrastructure minister Borys Kolesnikov believes that prices for hotels in Ukraine will fall during the Euro 2012 European Football Championship after one of the largest low-cost airlines in Europe Ryanair enters the Ukrainian market.
"I think that before the end of April this problem will have been resolved. First, we are in the final stages of signing an agreement with Ryanair concerning their entry into Ukrainian market. All fans will be able to calculate the cost of flight for every match and accommodation in Ukraine. I think from that moment the hotel prices will go down dramatically. A return ticket from London to Donetsk will cost $ 300. England will play three group stage games in Ukraine. Hence, the total cost will be $ 900. If the hotel rooms cost more than $ 200, then a ten stay here will be lot more expensive. I think it will quickly cool ardour of our hotels," he told English journalists during their visit to the Donbass Arena stadium in Donetsk on Thursday, the Shakhtar club's press office reported.
