President Viktor Yanukovych has met Vice-Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov to discuss plans of building new roads in the country, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
As Borys Kolesnikov said after the meeting, they have discussed medium and long-term planning of new roads construction to connect the western and the eastern border of Ukraine.
In addition, Borys Kolesnikov has reported to Viktor Yanukovych on the status of preparation for EURO 2012 in Ukraine. "The President asked if everything is all right, if we meet the schedule, if everything is funded," he said. The Minister reminded that the preparation of national infrastructure for EURO 2012 had been discussed in detail on April 12, during President Yanukovych’s visit to Lviv.
