Ukraine will increase the price of Ukrainian visa for US citizens, Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
The official explained that such decision is made due to the increase of the price of American visa for citizens of all countries the US has visa regime, including Ukraine.
"From April 13 of this year the state department of the US increased the price of visa processing for citizens of all countries the US have visa regime. US declare that the current visa price does not correspond to the actual expenses for visa processing. Hence, the consulate fee will rise from 140 USD to 160 USD or from 150 USD to 190 USD, depending on visa type. In this connection Ukraine is considering to change tariffs of consulate fees for processing of Ukrainian visas for US citizens," Dykusarov specified.
