The State tax service of Ukraine is a key regulator of business-climate, chairman of the service Oleksandr Klimenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Actions of the tax service are clearly mapped to the moods of investments, both foreign and domestic. We stand on the position that we are the service and our task is to service," the official said.
He added that despite any negative estimation more than 40% of investors in Ukraine plan to continue investing in the country, including thanks to automatic VAT refunding.
"We have created a communication system with a payer, we continue introducing more and more services, we have simplified tax payment procedure. We have reduced the number of inspections by threefold in order to reduce the pressure on business and to stimulate its work," the official continued.
According to Klimenko, the State tax service plans to hold survey of the investment activity in Ukraine twice a year in order to observe the effect of those mechanisms and decisions, the service is carrying out.
