An airplane of the flight Dubai-Kyiv made an emergency landing this morning in Simferopol airport because a passenger beat up a stewardess, head of the liaison department of the Crimean Interior Ministry office Olga Kondrashova informed.
"An airplane of 'Aerosvit' company landed at 10:18 this morning. We received information about a fight. A Kyiv citizen of 1986 year of birth has been removed from the flight," Kondrashova said.
According to the official, the young man is now giving testimonies and explanations of his behavior to law enforcement officials.
The flight is being held up till the circumstances of the incident are cleared, Kondrashova added.
