The Ministry of Justice placed on its official website the first annual report on the results of interventions to prevent and combat corruption in this country, Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych said.
"The Justice Ministry prepared its report based on the information received from ministries, other central executive authorities, the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, local state administrations and authorized entities in the sphere of combating corruption," the Minister said, UKRINFORM reports.
The report displays statistics on the performance of authorized agents in the field of combating corruption. In particular, it provides the statistics of criminal cases on corruption charges, investigated cases, the amount of losses caused by corruption offenses. It also outlines most corrupt areas and categories of public servants, who are most often prosecuted for corruption offenses and the like.
The report summarizes the results of anti-corruption expert examination of draft legal acts. In particular, factors that lead to including corruption-support provisions into regulations have been analyzed.
