Ukraine will receive EURO 2012 guests at worthy level, President Viktor Yanukovych said at today’s opening of a new terminal at the Lviv Danylo Halytsky International Airport, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
The President stressed that Ukraine has made every effort to successfully prepare for the sporting event. "Making promises and keeping them has been and remains the matter of principle for Ukraine," said Viktor Yanukovych.
"We have great hope that this football festival will be held at the proper level, and the Ukrainian football team will show good football," said Viktor Yanukovych.
For his part, the UEFA President pointed out Ukraine’s significant achievements in building a modern infrastructure for EURO 2012. He thanked the President of Ukraine and local authorities for giving hundreds of thousands of fans the opportunity to come to Ukraine and enjoy the festival of football.
