Performing social initiatives of the President, the government has allocated more than 6 billion UAH to compensate devaluated deposits of citizens.

"The government envisaged the designated funds in the draft law on amendments to the state budget of Ukraine for 2012, submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on April 9,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at today's session of the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.

"More than 6 billion UAH has been provided for compensation of devaluated deposits of citizens, which were supposed to be paid off in 2008-2009 and which never happened back then," the Prime Minister said.
