Speaker of Ukraine's parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn urges not to hurry with the adoption of the draft bill "On peaceful meetings", but to send it for public discussions.

"We've come to a conclusion that the draft bill must be revised, especially those conflicting moments, which the government and society have not agreed upon. It would be better to postpone the consideration of the draft bill to the next plenary week in order to work out variants on this or that conflicting issue," the speaker told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

In his turn head of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov said that his faction has nothing against peaceful meetings and gatherings, "but if such peaceful demonstrations run wild and obstruct the activity of other people, the authorities must interfere and stop them."
