Since April 1, social standards have raised. According to the Law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012,” the aid amount increased at birth of a child, the Finance Ministry press service informed, according to UKRINFORM.

“Since Q2, 2012, the amount of aid at birth of a child will be increased, which will gradually further grow over the year. Starting since April 1, the aid amount makes up as follows: at birth of the first child - UAH 27,300 (UAH 24,960 in Q2, 2011); the second child - UAH 54,660 (UAH 49,920); for the third and the following child - UAH 109,320 (UAH 99,840),” the statement reads.

Social aid for children to single mothers also rose. Since April 1, maximum amount of aid for children makes up as follows: at the age of up to six years - UAH 455.5; from six to 18 years - UAH 567; from 18 to 23 years of age, studying - UAH 547.

In addition, in 2012, the amount of aid for children grows, over whom custody or guardianship is set. Starting with April, it makes up UAH 1,822 (up to six years of age) and UAH 2,268 (from six to 18 years of age).

In Q2, 2012, aid to handicapped persons from birth and disabled children, in particular, since April 1, aid to handicapped persons from birth jointly with an increment for attendance makes up as follows: I group (subgroup A) - UAH 1,466.5; I group (subgroup B) - UAH 1,257; II and III groups - UAH 838.

For disabled children since April 1, the aid jointly with an increment is as follows: at the age of six years - UAH 1,042.1, and for those who suffered as a result of the Chornobyl disaster - UAH 1,335.4; from six to eight years of age - UAH 1,153.6, respectively for children affected as a result of the Chornobyl disaster - UAH 1,446.9.
