MP of Ukraine from the Party of Regions parliamentary faction and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy Vladyslav Zabarskyi believes that Tymoshenko's defense is trying to create another public scandal using the health condition of the former PM, the MP expressed an opinion, commenting on the statement by the lawyer of the ex-premier Sergiy Vlasenko that Yulia Tymoshenko doesn’t trust the choice of the hospitals for her treatment, made by the Ukrainian Ministry of Health experts.
"The General Prosecutor's Office met Yulia Tymoshenko halfway, and decided on the treatment of the ex-premier outside Kachanivska penal colony. And the Ukrainian Ministry of Health will organize all the necessary conditions for treatment," the politician reminded, ForUm learned from the press office of the Party of Regions.
At the same time, according to Vladyslav Zabarskyi, Tymoshenko's defense puts forward unexplainable requirements for the health care system in Ukraine. "As a result these actions move Tymoshenko away from the treatment, which may be provided to her outside the colony," he said.
"The question is what do they want - to receive a treatment or to arrange another public scandal? After all, Tymoshenko's defense has been claiming that former Prime Minister was in need of treatment outside the Kachanivska penal colony," the MP stressed.
The permission of the General Prosecutor's Office for examination and treatment of the ex-prime minister outside the colony is an evidence of transparency and democratic character of judicial system of Ukraine, Vladyslav Zabarskyi added.
