The State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine is considering possibilities to provide former Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko with additional examination and treatment in a medical institution outside the detention facility, press secretary of the Prosecutor's General Margarita Velkova told Channel 5.
"As far as I know, Health Ministry medical commission examined Lutsenko again yesterday, and he requested for additional examination. Now the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine is considering possibilities to provide former Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko with additional examination, as well as and treatment in a certain medical institution outside the detention facility," the official said.
