Kyiv mayor office starts the construction project of the fourth subway line, deputy mayor Ruslan Kramarenko told the first Kyiv investment forum, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to the official, the line will have 12 stations. "The metro will go from Podol to Troeshina through Podolsko-Voskresenski Bridge. And later we will build the second part to the opposite side - from Podol to the railway station and further to Zhulyany," he specified.

Kramarenko informed that the total cost of the new line is 11.2 billion hryvnais, and the cost of the first part is UAH seven billion.

The official added that the project will be realized jointly with a private investor, which will provide financing, construction and operation administration. "We have preliminary agreements with some potential investors from Russia and the West," he summed up.

As reported, the government of Ukraine allocated to Kyiv metropolitan 119.6 million hryvnias for construction of metro lines in Kyiv in 2012.
