Soon the cabinet will submit a draft bill on minimal prices for agricultural production, deputy Agrarian Minister Mykola Bezugly told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.

The official noted that only a legislative act can solve the problem of price stability for agricultural products, milk in particular.

Bezugly told that for today the law allows administrative regulations only for sugar, while prices other agricultural products are controlled by the market.

"The draft bill on minimal price provides that prices for agricultural products cannot be lower than the prime cost plus small profit percent," the official said.
