The deficit of the sowing campaign budget makes 8.5 billion hryvnias, deputy Agrarian Minister Mykola Bezugly told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
The official specified that the sowing campaign needs 36 billion, while agrarians have only 27 billion. According to Bezugly, it is planned to get lacking 8.5 billion from bank loans and from agricultural processors.
He added that due to bad weather conditions agrarians have to reseed more than three million hectares, which is 22-23% more expenses comparing to 2011.
The official also told that before May 15 the government plans to complete paying subsidies to agrarians for reseeding of winter crops. "For this purpose the Cabinet has allocated 300 million hryvnias," he said.
