President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak praised the role of Ukraine at the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit, Yanukovych's press office reports.
"Ukraine has made a significant contribution into strengthening nuclear security in the world," he said during a meeting with President Viktor Yanukovych.
Lee Myung-bak also called Ukraine's decision to remove highly enriched uranium from its territory a good example for other states.
In turn, Viktor Yanukovych said that Ukraine has been making and is yet to make a worthy contribution into strengthening nuclear security in the world. He also thanked the Korean side for the high organizational level of the Seoul Summit.
