President instructs government to provide Internet access availability
President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications Chairman Petro Yatsuk to work out by July 2 a program of developing the infrastructure necessary to provide Internet and network access in cities, towns, and villages of Ukraine, as well as to work out a simplified procedure for the approval of projects to create such an infrastructure.

The respective document has been posted on the official website of the head of state.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea and heads of state regional and city administrations were instructed to prepare a regional development plan to expand Internet access in rural areas and develop the appropriate infrastructure.
