Russian consumers' rights protection agency Rospotrebnadzor plans to start inspecting Ukrainian cheese producers the next Monday, March 26, chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko informed.

"Our group will most likely come the next week, on Monday," he said, according to Interfax-Ukraine. Onishchenko declared that the inspection was first planned for March 19, but was postponed due to "sluggishness of partners."

"We continue settling the procedure order through diplomatic channels," he said.

On March 18 Onishchenko declared that Rospotrebnadzor was ready to start the inspection of Ukrainian cheese producers on March 19, but the procedure had not been agreed by then, and it was Ukraine's fault.

"Instead of settling conditions and order of the inspection, for the second half of the last week we were observing only idle discussions," Onishchenko complained.
