Lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko has denied information that Yulia Tymoshenko is allegedly demanding special medical treatment.
“The only thing Yulia Tymoshenko is demanding that she be treated in strict adherence to the treatment protocol set by the German physicians, regardless of where this happens, and the German doctors clearly said that such treatment is only possible in a specialized clinic,” Serhiy Vlasenko told the press today in Kyiv, Tymoshenko's official website reports.
The lawyer stressed that the State Penitentiary Service “tried to spread a false press release saying that Tymoshenko was allegedly refusing treatment and was demanding additional treatment other than what was stated in the German doctors’ conclusions.”
“It’s not true. Tymoshenko is only demanding strict adherence to the treatment protocol,” he said.
