Military prosecution of Chernihiv military camp has finished investigation into a criminal case against a commander of an army regiment of ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, accused of illegal misuse of subordinates for personal services, ForUm learned from the press office of the central military prosecution department.
The pre-trial investigation has revealed that from May to October 2011 by order of their commander 16 contract servicemen were engaged into night freight operations for some private enterprise. During the day these contract servicemen were released from duty and service itself. For their work the commander received food products, alcohol and beverages of total sum of 20 thousand hryvnias. The products were used for celebration of 70th anniversary of the military camp.
The criminal case has been delivered to a district court of Chernihiv.
