Citizens of Ukraine living aboard pay be deprived of voting right for the forthcoming parliamentary elections if the Constitutional Court recognizes the regulation of the new law on elections unconstitutional, deputy head of the Central Election Commission Andriy Magera told "Glavkom".

The official stated that the Constitution says the citizens of Ukraine have equal rights regardless various characteristics, including residence. But at the same time he informed that the Constitutional Court of Ukraine received an appeal to recognize as unconstitutional the article 22 of the Law on parliamentary elections, which concerns the mechanism of inclusion of Ukrainians abroad into majority constituencies of Kyiv.

However, there is no decision on opening hearings on this case yet.
