Defense Ministry of Ukraine has almost finished preparations for Euro-2012 championship, deputy defense minister Volodymyr Mozharovski told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
He told that the Ministry was charged with antiterrorist provision during Euro-2012. According to Mozharovski, preparation plans and task plans have already been approved.
"The Ministry has approved the number of equipment to use during the championship, have finished the selection of military staff and have organized training tests," the official informed.
The deputy minister told that it is planned to use 28 aircrafts, 16 helicopters and 10 air defense missile systems.
"For April we plan complex training with militaries and aviation. Now we are talking with the Polish side to hold joint trainings," Mozharovski said.
