Shevchenkovski Court of Kyiv has sentenced former officer of Kyiv detention facility to five years of imprisonment for distribution of drugs among detainees.
According to the press office of Kyiv prosecutor's office, for pecuniary reward the officer was bringing drugs (methadone) to detainees. He was arrested during his latest attempt to bring dugs on the territory of the detention facility, having hidden them in his personal things.
Last year Kyiv prosecutor's office instituted and sent to court total of five criminal cases against former officers of Kyiv detention facility, involved into distribution of drugs among detainees.
