The Verkhovna Rada has started making nominations for the post of Human Rights Commissioner.
"Two candidates will be considered: Yevhen Zakharov, put forward by 125 people's deputies of BYuT-Batkivshchyna and Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense, and Valeria Lutkovska, nominated by 124 deputies of the majority," Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn said, UKRINFORM reports.
The procedure for the discussion and submission of nominations will last 45 minutes, the Speaker noted.
