Egyptian court has sentenced to life a Ukrainian and two Israeli, accused of smuggling weapons. The Ukrainian and one of Israeli are in custody, while another Israeli was sentenced in absence.
Ukrainian citizen Edward Chikosh has headed a tourist agency in Egypt for five years. According to the court, he ordered weapon from one of Israeli, but the delivery man was detained by customs officials.
According to the version of the Ukrainian, the weapon belonged to a bus passenger of his tour agency. Chikosh claims he does not know why and to whom the passenger was bringing the weapon.
