
"Today, at a rough estimate of the Ministry of Finance, there are already additional UAH 10-11 billion, which come primarily after exceeding VAT targets on imported and domestic products and due to the planned increase in revenues from income tax," Akimova emphasized.
She specified that an additional source of funds could be the introduction of wealth tax, which, according to preliminary estimates, in the first year could enrich the budget with UAH 1.5 billion, as well as the adoption of a law on the liberalization of the market of minerals, which could bring some UAH 5 - 5.5 billion.
The official noted that the funds can also be raised through initiatives on legalization of wages, being now developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
