The increase of social payments in Ukraine will not obstruct the renewal of coopration with IMF, deputy head of the President's Administration Iryna Akymova told a briefing, ForUm's correspondent reports.

According to Akymova, the issue on cooperation with IMF remains open, and working discussions are held regularly. "Our disaccord with IMF concerns not the increase of social payments, but refusal to increase public service tariffs. Social initiatives of the president have nothing to do with tariffs, hence they will not affect the dialogue with IMF," the official summed up.

As a reminder, on March 7 President Viktor Yanukovych defined four strategic directions for social reforms in Ukraine.
