On March 12-14, 2012 President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will pay a state visit to Ukraine, Chief of Staff Serhiy Lyovochkin informed.
The visit aims to promote the intensification and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, in particular in such areas as trade, industry, construction, and others.
During the visit, several bilateral documents will be signed including the Interstate Program of Trade and Economic Cooperation between Ukraine and Turkmenistan for 2012-2015, intergovernmental and interagency agreements to expanding the Ukrainian-Turkmen cooperation in science and technology, healthcare, sports, government communication, inter-regional cooperation, etc.
