The President also called "absurd" the current requirement for vehicle owner to register it at the place of residence. According to him, the problem should be resolved by the introduction of a unified vehicle database. "I think that such a database should be introduced already this summer," he said.
Another important issue that needs to be addressed, according to the President, is the excessively complicated and bureaucratized procedure of making a payment to the Pension Fund when buying a car. "I think that reforms in this area should continue so that a person could re-register a car in an hour and make it at an economical reasonable fee," said Viktor Yanukovych.
