"We have agreed that the Government will ensure the construction of perinatal centers by 2015. Thus, in 2014 we will have this program completed," he said. According to Viktor Yanukovych, there are three such institutions already functioning, established within the framework of New Life national project initiated by the President. The next regional perinatal center to open will be that in Odesa region.
"Thus, we will provide protection for young mothers at the highest level, will create the conditions not worse than in any other European country," he said. The President also expressed hope that the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Healthcare Raisa Bohatyryova will bring this work to a new level.
