In 2012 the program "Affordable housing" will continue in Ukraine, President Viktor Yanukovych said at a meeting with prominent women on the eve of International Women's Day on Tuesday, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.

The President expressed assurance that successful realization of the program will enable citizens to have their own housing and will also improve national economy and development of domestic market. "We will give credits for 10-15 years under very low interest rates and will build affordable housing," he said.

"This program has come to fruition, and we are ready for it," Yanukovych added.

The head of state noted that the reforms, started in Ukraine in 2010, will gather pace and will work for people. "All we do today is for the future. It is very important that we see improvement with every next year, and that people feel this improvement," Yanukovych said.
