President Viktor Yanukovych has attended the second National Exhibition of Children's Art "The Country of Young Artists" held at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, presidential press office reports.

The exhibition features creative works of over 400 pupils of out-of-school arts circles divided into five theme ‘cities’ of ‘The Country of Young Artists’ for artists and craftsmen; dreamers, designers and inventors; scientists; young explorers of nature; adventurers.

The President toured the exhibition and talked to the young artists and designers.

"We are developing Ukraine as a strong and independent country. We pin high hopes on you," he said, adding that it was very interesting for him to see the exhibition and that his is fascinated with their talent.

Viktor Yanukovych wished the children their dreams coming true and achieving the goals they set for themselves. "My wish to you is that you always seek to conquer the highest heights and that they yield to you," he said.

The President added that the state recognizes its responsibility for its young citizens’ decent life and future.
