Land price after launching land market in Ukraine will make about 300 euros per hectare, head of the State Land Agency Serhiy Tymchenko disclosed. He said that pricing for Ukrainian soil will be determined by three factors.
The first one is the size of the land area - the larger it is the cheaper is its development. The second factor is the availability of infrastructure - roads, grain storages. And third one is the quality of land which is now used in many cases in an uncontrolled way. "That is why the price of land in Ukraine is much lower than in European countries," Serhiy Tymchenko said.
The official set example of Poland and Hungary, where the land costs from 3 thousand euros, while in France and the UK - from 10 to 30 thousand euros. The official stressed that the government policy is aimed at solving these problems.
