Ukraine and NATO will hold testing training on emergency response during European football championship. According to the head of NATO expert group Evert Somer, the training will start in April at Kyiv Olympic stadium.
"We will gather all representatives of Interior Ministry, Emergency Situations Ministry, Health Ministry and other relevant departments, which will take part in security provision during the championship. We will simulate an emergency situation for these departments to deal with it," NATO expert said.
According to Somer, such simulations will let "to see and discuss taken measures and to prove whether Ukrainian colleagues are ready to counteract and cooperate."
According to NATO representative, the training will last three days, during which half of the term will be dedicated to the theories - seminars and discussions on radiological, chemical and biological defense, and another half to practical tests.
