Ukraine and Poland are 95% ready for the European Football Championship 2012 ahead of 100 days before the beginning of the championship, UEFA President Michel Platini said during a program "Policy in Football" on air of Italian radio station Rai GR Parlamento, National Radio reported.
According to him, hosting countries are working day and night for organization of the tournament at the highest level.
"Ukraine and Poland are ready by 95%. Stadiums have been constructed, roads modernized, airports have been actually completed," the UEFA President has said. He also expressed conviction in the fact that the world will be a witness of great football battles on the fields of Ukraine and Poland. "This will be an important tournament with a beautiful atmosphere. We will see important games," Michel Platini noted.
As Vice Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov has said earlier during a TV bridge Warsaw - Kyiv. 100 Days for EURO 2012, both host countries are actually ready for the championship. "Ukraine has four new airports with three new runways, as well as prepared four stadiums. I am convinced that the tournament will be held at a high level," Borys Kolesnikov noted.
